I was gonna post some fic reviews today, but it's like, I've got a State of the Writer blog to make (that I should have already done...), I've got an episode to review, too much is happening today. D:
As for today's episode, am I the only one feeling like I missed something?
Her passion is drawing circles. Her cutie mark is in writing haikus. These things are actually connected!
Kettle Corn's circles resemble ensō, a form of Zen Buddhist calligraphy in Japan. Haiku is a form of poetry that originated with Buddhist monks in Japan.
There isn't a whole I can say about this episode besides "I don't like Rumble, or his fake ideals. But the CMC and Thunderlane are still likable, and the message that it's okay to do more than one thing".
Fuckin' a, this goddamn fucking season won't leave us alone. D: So all the other episodes have leaked, and today and tomorrow are days filled with audio/visual activities for me, let's say, so I don't know when I'm going to watch them. And I need to, because fuckers are spoiling shit for me already. D: Also, someone told me I need to catch up on comics before I watch them, so there's that to do, too (and yet, the site I'm using now isn't caught up...)
One week away from the movie premiere. That’s going to be an interesting weekend to manage…
Eh, that’s future FoME’s problem. For now, the Crusaders get to meet their greatest nemesis yet and I wish I’d ever seen Parks and Recreation so I could do an on-theme intro gag.
Rumble was a bit of a pain in Marks and Recreation. If the Crusaders’ hadn’t made a safe place to be Cutie Mark-less, perhaps he might have been the subject of ridicule. Diamond Tiara might not be a bully anymore, but I doubt she’s the only one in Equestria.
(Finally, I can make this blog... I'm sick of being dragged out of the house on some overnight every other weekend or so)
Marks and Recreation
Well, well, well... their finally getting the idea that SOME PONIES do not even WANT a Cutie Mark... (Alas, doth I sense Rumble will be just like the rest and flip-flop on me?) and the fact that this IDEA is happening, looks like they got off from my Starfleet Season 2
Season Seven will likely be remembered for its finale, and how it tied together storylines spanning many seasons, (not to mention its tie-in to the comic books). It also had some pretty phenomenal landmark episodes like A Perfect Pear, and Royal Problems - beautiful stories that tackled subjects we have all been waiting to see explored for a very, very long time.
Marks and Recreation I believe it was called. The whole time I kept thinking "man, Rumble really reminds me of another character" and then it dawned on me:
Both end up going to a camp they hate and either slack off or create mischief.
